I believe anyone can learn to draw and paint, it is a means of expression that can be developed and refined. Finding out what to say through art is an ongoing and never-ending issue, but one that continuously challenges and nourishes.
My art is deeply influenced by my locale. The process of painting is more important than the final painting itself. It is akin to meditation, a way to capture the present moment.
Where ever I go, the people and places direct my art. Painting and sketching help me connect to a place and to carry it with me always.
